The British Museum
The British Museum is one of the most visited museum in London. As you know most of the Museum’s are free so no excuse, you have to visit it.To find it, i would advise you to stop at the Russell Square stop station which is on the Piccadilly Line ( blue line ). Then turn on your left at the exit of the tube, walk 2 min until the main road and here, will appear on your left the Russell hotel, a beautiful and luxury
building build in 1898. Then in front of you is the Russell Square, which is the biggest square in London. Cross it in diagonal toward the fontaine and reach the Montague street. Then the British Museum will be just 3 min walk away at the end of montague street on the right. There is plenty of amazing things to learn about. It is considered to be one of the world greatest museum of human history and culture. The Rosetta Stone is one of those great object that people are coming from all around the world to see. For sure you will spend hours in this huge place.
A fish and chips with an ale beer.
After all that, you will be looking for a nice english pub to taste the famous english “fish and chips”. So first try to avoid the easy tentation of staying inside of the British Museum and having a coffee. The second trap is the Starbucks coffee in front of the museum, it is a nice place too, but for sure you are not in London for this world brand. So then if you are brave enough to resist all those consumption tentation, you will find on the right of the Starbucks coffee the “Museum Tavern” .
This pub is a typical english one that will be able to provide you fresh ale beers and a true english fish and chips. Here are also some more adress that you can enjoy a good ale beer :
The Plough, is a good alive pub to watch sports events ( 27 Museum Street Bloomsbury, London WC1A 1LH 020 7636 7964)

The Cartoon Museum
Now that you had a Fish and chips or beer break, you are ready to explore the area. I would advice you to go in the Cartoon Museum ( 35 Little Russell Street, London WC1A 2HH tel : 02075808155) which is just on the right of the Plough. The aim of this museum is to collect and show you the best of British cartoon, caricature and comic art – past and present.
